As a certified Sex & Intimacy Occupational Therapist, my goal is to help my clients engage in fulfilling, meaningful sex and intimacy. We will discuss your current relationship to sex, desires, dislikes, and goals. Through a client-centered approach by understanding your gender identity, sexual identity, how you process sensory stimuli (touch, smell, taste, sight, pressure, etc.), physical abilities, values, and beliefs about sex, we will work together to navigate the journey of creating a meaningful and fullfilling sex life.
Engaging in sex and exploring your sexuality can be a great way to learn more about yourself intrapersonally and interpersonally. Sex is categorized as an Activity of Daily Living and can utilize elements of Social Particiation occuations and Health Management occupations.

What can be addressed:
Sex after an Injury or Illness
After someone is injured, has undergone medical treatment, or is recovering from an illness, there is typically no guidance on how to return to safely engaging in sex and intimacy.
Sex with a Physical or Intellectual Disability
There are many sterotypes surrounding sex and disability which does not mean they are true. We will address your desires and abilities and work with them to help you participate in sex and intimacy in a fullilling, meaningful way.
Sexual Satisfaction
As we age, lose or gain personal roles throughout life, and experience the variety of joys and stressors life brings, it can have an affect on our ability to feel satisfied in sex and intimacy. Together, we can create a plan to address these changes that may lead to decreased satisfaction.

Before we begin, we will have a 15-minute meet-and-greet call and where we can schedule our first session. I am a cash-based therapist and accept debit and credit cards as this allows me to provide personalized care without the restraints of utilizing insurance. I have sliding scale spots available, please inquire below.
